How to design with Anthology
Designing with us is easy! We work with your design ideas, colors and photos to create a custom wedding suite tailored specially for you! It's as easy as 1. 2. 3!
Step 1
Gather design inspiration and info
To get started on design ideas, check out either our "Designs" link below, our blog, or other social media to see new invitations. Collect your ideas on Pinterest boards and don't be afraid to look outside of our existing designs for inspiration! We gather inspiration from everywhere, from floral arrangements and photos of exotic destinations to geode formations so don't be afraid to share with our designer what makes your wedding aesthetic unique!
Collect any information that will appear on the invitations, from names (with correct spelling) to times and addresses of each event. You can refer to our past designs to get ideas for wording.
If you're including photos on your invitations, you can even narrow down your favorite engagements pics before coming in so that once you arrive you'll already have a curated "favorites" list to choose from. That saves you time in the consultation, which also helps you stay in budget.
Step 2
Choose which size, quantity, and paper finish you need
We offer a variety of sizes, from the most popular 5x7 to the impressive gatefold options and smaller event insert cards.
Our Deluxe Satin finish is a thick, 16 pt cardstock with an ultra-smooth, matte texture. It's by far the most popular and also our favorite. The velvety finish gives photos and graphics a creamy, dull-white finish, making it ideal for skin tones and mid-tones.
Our Glossy finish is a 14 pt cardstock with a high-shine, fingerprint-proof, glossy coating. Colors tend to print more vibrantly in this finish, so it is ideal for photos and designs with deeper, richer colors.
Our cardstock Matte finish is a 14 pt uncoated paper with no finish or coating, the result is a slightly rougher texture and bright-white base that’s great for designs with a lot of white space. (We don’t recommend printing photos on this paper.)
You can check out our pricing page OR request a complementary sample pack to see examples of the different paper finish for yourself.
Step 3
Contact us and get started!
There are a few ways of designing with Anthology Print: In-Studio design, Online design through email, or submit a print-ready design. No matter which you choose we are excited to be working with you!
In-Studio Design: For those within traveling distance of the Rexburg area, just click the "Schedule Appointment" link below to book an in-studio consultation. Bring your photos, design inspiration, and wording in and we will design them together. You'll be able to see samples and work directly with our designer in real-time to lay out your perfect wedding invitation suite.
Online Design: For those anywhere else in the world, you will also have all of the benefits of working with our talented designers, but without making the trip to the studio. Start by clicking the "Fill Out Questions" link below to answer our initial client questionnaire. This information will help us complete your order form and allow us to provide an initial price quote (including shipping and any applicable state taxes). As soon as we receive that information, we will be able to get started on your design proof.
Design time is $30 for either method and prorated in 15 minute intervals, so whether you come in or design through email the design cost will be comparable. With either design method your digital proofs will be emailed to you for revision or final approval.
Submit a Design: If you already have a print-ready design, we can print it! As long as your files meet our design parameters there is no design charge for this method, all you pay is the print cost. Just fill out the client questionnaire below with your sizes and quantities and submit your high-resolution, print-ready files to anthologyprint@hotmail.com
We will process the order for either local pick up or shipment to anywhere in the world. For local designers who want to see your files on our computer, you can even set up a free 15-minute information appointment below.
Rush options are available if you need a faster turn around time. Shipping can be done nationally and internationally.

Design it just right…
Either design method is only $30/hr with as many revisions as you need to get it just right. Check out the designs we have or others online to get ideas. We have a link to a Pantone color chart that will help with your color choices: HERE so just let me know which of those swatches matches best to the colors you are wanting to include.
Our turnaround time for invitations is currently about 6-9 business days for local orders, plus 2-3 additional days if the order is being shipped to you. There is no shipping charge for orders picked up locally, however orders can be shipped to anywhere in the US for $12 per item ordered. Rush printing is available for $.05/card and reduces the production time by 2 business days. Shipping is handled by UPS and is not our responsibility once they are sent to print. A tracking number can be requested if you would like to know when your order will be arriving.
When everything is received by Anthology Custom Print, including pictures and info, a mock-up design will be created and sent to you for approval or revision. If everything is correct, written approval (through e-mail) is required for sending to print. We are not responsible for misspelling, incorrectly sized pictures (high resolution vs. small images), dark or overly saturated images, or paper choices (although we will do everything we can to review each of these during the design process). A complimentary sample pack can be requested by sending your mailing address.
We look forward to working with you and designing your perfect wedding announcement!
